we were looking for something different in a cold weather running pant. one we could throw on over a base layer on the coldest days, but wear straight on cooler fall and spring days. seasonal versatility was a goal, but mixed terrain versatility in inclement weather was high on the list as well. would it hold up through a snowstorm on a Thursday night at the Run Rite Athletics Club? (please ask us about Thursday nights).

with a loose fit around the thighs and hips, articulation at the knees, these pants offer unrestricted movement. zippered pockets strategically placed. a secure cuff at the ankle ensures that chilly air is kept at bay but "secret" vents (can you find them?) allow the warm air to escape. the fabric, with stretch and recycled fibers, has a soft barely there brushed grid that helps with wicking. a C0 DWR adds wind, snow and sleet resistance while still giving up the necessary breathability needed for temperature regulation.
