The toughest and most durable jacket in the Beta family, this all-terrain hardshell offers pro-level protection when the rain lashes out from the side during a push to the summit. The hybrid blend of GORE-TEX PRO ePE fabrics—stronger in the shoulders and lighter in the body—keeps your core perfectly dry. Designed with a helmet-compatible DropHood , it provides easy access to adjustments and pockets.

Model update:

  • New GORE-TEX PRO ePE in 100D and 80D with durable water repellent (DWR) treatment , intentionally free of added PFAS

  • Improved fabric lamination and new cord locks for increased durability

  • Lightweight RECCO® reflector integrated into the visor of the cap for added safety in emergency situations

  • New pattern reducing fabric waste – equivalent to approximately 400 jackets saved in the production process

Product tip:
The new ePE membrane is lighter and thinner, while remaining just as strong and durable as previous materials. You might notice the outer fabric absorbs moisture slightly faster, but this does not affect the membrane's waterproofness . If the surface appears to get wet more quickly, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oily contaminants and reactivate the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment.
