The Five Ten Kestrel Lace-up Shoe is designed for high performance and versatility.

The outsole is made of Stealth C4 rubber, and the cleat cavity is wider to ensure compatibility with all types of SPD pedals. The nylon upper is more flexible than on the original Kestrel, and the midsole provides excellent shock absorption. The shoe features perforations at the toes, and the tongue is made of mesh for enhanced breathability. To prevent twisting injuries, a non-slip heel cavity has been designed to reduce torsional flex.
