The TNF Women's Terra Peak Hoodie Mid-Season Jacket provides lightweight warmth when you need it most. It features ThermoBall™ Eco insulation made from recycled polyester to keep you warm during winter hikes and other outdoor activities, even when wet. This hooded jacket can be worn as an insulating layer under your favorite shell or on its own in dry, windy conditions for comfort and warmth during your outdoor adventures. And when it's time to pack it away, you can stow it in the chest pocket for easy transport. This mid-layer is ideal for an onion-like layering system, which consists of three layers. The base layer, worn next to the skin, keeps you warm and wicks moisture away quickly. The mid-layer, consisting of insulating or fleece garments, protects against the cold while wicking away excess heat during activity. And finally, the outer layer, the shell which, worn over the other layers, is the most effective against the elements.

This hooded jacket can be worn as an insulating layer under your go-to shell or as a wind-resistant standalone in dry conditions providing comfort and warmth during your outdoor activities. And when it is time to stow it away, you can fold it into its chest pocket for easy carrying. This mid layer will be quite useful in an onion layering system, made of three types of clothing. The first layer, worn next-to-skin will provide warmth and quickly move moisture away from your skin. Then, the second layer, is the insulation or fleece, that provides warmth while also dissipating heat during periods of high output. And finally, the third layer, the shell, which is the most weather-protective layer, worn on the outside of all other layers.
