The Beta jacket features a reduced environmental impact and an extended cut for effective mountain protection. The PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE fabric resists wind, rain, and snow. Its recycled C-KNIT backer improves breathability, while the durable 80D outer surface is made entirely of recycled nylon. The longer cut ensures optimal comfort under a backpack hip belt or over a long base layer, the adjustable DropHood pairs with the integrated collar for excellent head and neck protection, and the two-way front zipper maintains your stride’s freedom of movement.

Update details: Refreshed design with a new, more durable PFAS-free GORE-TEX fabric that withstands harsh weather, along with a longer, more comfortable fit.

This product is free of intentionally added PFAS.

The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before. You may notice the outer fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproof performance of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you'd like, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil contamination and restore the DWR to its full effectiveness.
